HERE’S MY STORY
Have you wondered if there is more to life?
That was me back in Year 2009 while I sat at my desk as a Senior Manager in Seattle, Washington, USA.
As an outsider looking in, my life looked pretty good. Good job, nice apartment, nice car, but I was feeling lost inside. Although I was paid well, I was stressed out, burnt out and longing for more joy, meaning and freedom in life.
I felt trapped. I was unfulfilled. And I was scared that this would be my story for the next 30 years.
Deep in my heart, I have a dream, an intuition, a voice – telling me that I was meant for something bigger and something more purposeful.
LISTENED TO MY HEART
Two years later in Year 2011, despite feeling scared, I listened to my heart and took actions. With little money in my pocket, and absolutely no idea of how to start, I launched my first business from home.
I learned, I hustled, I cried, I struggled, I failed, I got up, I learned, and I hustled over and over again…
It was a constant struggle. The uncertainty of not knowing if my business would ever take off despite all the hard work put my emotions on a roller-coaster ride.
Some days I felt hopeful and excited. Some days I felt anxious and lost. But despite the craziness in my head, I pressed on and continued to pour my heart and my love into my craft.
Fortunately, over the next 26 months, step by step my hard work paid off. My business expanded, bringing in multimillion dollar revenue and started impacting the lives of thousands. I was invited to speak in 10+ countries in front of audiences of hundreds to 24,000+ people, published an international bestselling book, donated 3 schools and was humbled to be named “Global Goodwill Ambassador” in Year 2019.
I am an undeniable proof that if you are intentional on your life, and are willing to pour your heart and lots of hard work into something that you love and found purpose, anything is possible.
